Rena obtained her license in 1986 and opened Millennia in November of 1998. In 2009 she created our Strands of Hope Boutique. No matter what the needs of her clients are, she is blessed to be able to make them feel and look wonderful due to her education. She has a Wella Master Colorist Certification, a Davines Color Code Certificate and is a member of the American Hair Loss Council. She attended Jon Renau alternative hair classes and holds a certificate from the National Melanoma Institute of New England. Rena is most passionate about the well being of her team and all of our guests.
Director of Operations
Sharon has been an important asset to our team since March of 1999. With a background in business, coming into the salon/spa environment has been quite an experience for her. It is an ever changing business, which leads us to constantly improve our systems in order to stay competitive. Sharon has attended numerous seminars, collected many different ideas and incorporated them into Millennia. Sharon’s goal as you visit our salon/spa is to make sure you feel at home. She enjoys meeting new guests and doing her best to accommodate your needs.
Nicole received her cosmetology license in May of 1998 and joined the Millennia team as one of the “original girls” in November of 1998. Nicole became certified in hair extensions in 2008. She then became an educator for Great Lengths from 2008 until 2014. In 2014, she accepted a position as a National Educator for Gold Fever USA. Nicole is now focused on customizing extensions in the salon for all clients; offering fusion, micro beads and tape. Each client is customized in color and strand density, achieving the most natural end result. Nicole is most passionate about color and extensions. She feels it’s very rewarding to give a guest hair they always dreamed of, but never thought possible.
Margaret joined team Millennia as one of the “original girls” in November 1998. She began her career in the beauty industry in 1991. Although she performs all hair services, Brazilian Blowouts and balayaging/hand painting are her specialties. She is passionate about having her clients feel like they’re family. Margaret finds motivation in giving her clientele the end result they desire. She approaches this by listening to their wants and needs in order to find the right solutions. Margaret also loves using Davines, a brand she believes is hands down, the best she’s used thus far in her career.
Ashley joined team Millennia in 2006. She obtained her cosmetology license in 2009. Ashley accepted a position as a Nioxin Educator with the Wella Company from 2011 thru 2016. This has helped her to specialize in fine, thinning hair. She received a Wella Master Color Expert certification in 2015 and a Davines Color Code certificate in 2016. Ashley is also our airbrush makeup artist after attending classes with Temptu, as well as one of our spray tan technicians. Ashley is most passionate about taking great care of our guests, cosmetically and emotionally. She strongly believes in this industry you touch more hearts than hair.
Jamie has been a licensed stylist since 1994. She has been classically trained at the Vidal Sassoon Academy. She loves to create practical styles that clients can re-create themselves. She uses head shape, growth patterns, and hair texture to choose the perfect cut and color placement. She is education driven and loves to share her knowledge on managing natural curl, embracing thick or fine hair, and accentuating hair with beautiful natural highlights. She always puts the integrity of the hair first and is happy to have a thorough consultation, making you feel at home in her chair.
Laci joined team Millennia in November of 1998 as one of the “original girls”. She began her career in the beauty industry in 1996. In addition to her cut and color services, Laci works in our Strands of Hope boutique, since attending Jon Renau alternative hair classes. Laci is passionate about communicating with her guests to create their desired look. She truly enjoys furthering her education within the industry.
Strands of Hope Coordinator
Esther partnered with Rena in Spring 2009 putting together a private boutique called Strands of Hope to help women experiencing hair loss. Her own experience with Breast Cancer Treatment inspired her to provide women with stylish wigs and elegant headwear as they experience hair loss. Esther’s extensive career in health care management and health care consulting adds to her understanding and sensitivity of clients’ needs.
